Invoice Factoring for Staffing Companies

It is common for staffing firms to face cash challenges during times of growth.
Dealing with many different pay cycles, meeting payroll can become difficult. Many
staffing firms will turn to payroll funding or factoring to get them though their time
of need. While payroll funding is a good option for some staffing firms, factoring
offers more flexibility.
At a glance, here are some of the differences between Payroll Funding and Factoring
a staffing company:
PAYROLL FUNDING:
Funding only the payroll portion of the invoice
Long-term contracts
Usually the staffing firm must submit all time cards
No Credit guarantee
Funding Company takes over invoices payroll and tax processing
FACTORING WITH US:
Funding of entire invoice. The staffing firm may use the funds for any purpose,
payroll, marketing, expanding, etc.
No long-term contracts required
Staffing firm has total control over which invoices they submit to us.
Credit guarantee, in factored invoices
Will fund into staffing firm's payroll account
Staffing firm manages payroll, insurance, etc
The benefits of factoring with us really boil down to adding profit to your bottom
line. Before you factor, make sure you can take advantage of the features and
leverage them into value:
TAKE ON ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
Most of our staffing clients can do more business if they have better cash flow.

frequently see:

Reaching a higher quality customer base

Saving Money: When Is a Bargain Not a Bargain?

You've probably heard this before. That's OK, you'll hear it again because it's still true. It isn't the things you don't know that get you, it's the things you know for sure that just aren't right. That's particularly true when it comes to saving money. We grew up accepting certain things about saving money that may well have been true at one time. They may still be true in some cases.

Feng Shui Money Tips

Do you know where your financial "power spots" are? The contemporary methods of feng shui associate prosperity issues with the back left corner of any space. Stand at your front door facing into the house; your wealth area is at the back of the house on the left-hand side. There's also a wealth area within each room: facing in from the doorway, it's the corner area in the back of the room on the left-hand side.

7 Money Rules You Should Break

When it comes to learning fiscal knowledge, some lessons result in better memories than others. One of the most satisfying lessons I have ever learned is that there are rules simply made to be broken.
Rules that produce benefits for everyone are not what I am talking about. These "good" rules include not cutting in line at the grocery store, at a 4-way stop the driver on the right has the right-of-way, and paying your taxes on time keeps the government operating. These are all good rules and should never be broken.

Paying the Bills Truly CAN Be Painless

Ugh! The handful of bills feels like an armload of bricks. My stomach hurts and - darnn! Where did that calculator go, anyway? I scrounge through my wallet for the latest ATM slip. The balance mirrors my desire to perform this monthly ritual of Paying the Bills: virtually nil. Yet there's a tiny voice in the back of my mind asking, "Will I always feel this awful about Paying the Bills?"

How Does Bankruptcy Work?

Of course, bankruptcy is your last resort. It is tough but provides a legal remedy for your financial situation.
Bankruptcy is a 3-step process:
  1. You must first file in federal or state court saying you are "insolvent" - meaning you have no cash or assets (things you can sell) to pay your bills.
  2. You have to arrange a repayment plan with creditors and the court.
  3. You "discharge" - meaning settle your debts with creditors for usually a lower amount than the original bill. This gives the creditors some of their money back.

Bankruptcy Bill

The Senate is trying to overhaul the bankruptcy laws. Credit card companies and retailers have been pushing for reform since 1997. Hopefully, the new law will come into effect by mid-March.
What have they been battling over?
They rejected an amendment that would allow older people to get a special "homestead exemption" that would allow them to keep their homes if they file bankruptcy.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Benefits

When should an older American start collecting Social Security retirement benefits? The question seems easy, but the answer is complicated.
Many individuals can begin receiving Social Security retirement benefits as early as age 62, before full retirement age. But the amount of their monthly payment is reduced -- the trade off for the longer period over which benefits are paid.

Banking For Small Businesses

Starting a new business is a daunting task, not least because of the financial systems you have to set up including your business finance systems. There are many parts to your business finance. Checks In The Mail............Or So You Thought

Imagine writing a check payable to Visa for $100, placing it in an envelope and walking it and various other bills to the mailbox at the end of the driveway for the letter carrier to pick up.
Later, you receive a VISA statement showing payment past due and a late charge. Then later, you learn that the phone and utility company hadn't received their payments either.

Setting Your Financial Priorities

Whether you know it or not, you are always setting your financial priorities. Some may decide that a new stereo system is more inportant than this month's electric bill. This may be a little off the wall but it is still setting your priorities.
Anyone wanting to better manage their money would be wise to determine what their financial priorities are and stick to them. Of course, if you see that these priorities will not put food on the table and pay your bills then you will have to rethink your priorities.

How To Save Money On Groceries

Unlike a fixed monthly cost such as your mortgage or car payment, the amount you spend on groceries each month is somewhat flexible. While the common advice of clipping coupons and buying generic brands to save money while shopping is sound, by far the best way to truly keep your grocery shopping expenses under control is by understanding how grocery stores entice you to spend more than you really want. By fully

I have come to appreciate the unlimited potential that it has. I have also realized that there are some stumbling blocks that must be overcome if this potential is to be realized.

Treat Money Well To Attract More

Your ability to attract money has a lot to do with how you behave toward it.
The Law of Attraction works to send you more of what you think, feel and do. So the way you deal with money has a direct relation to how easily and abundantly it comes to you.
Imagine that money is a guest in your home and ask yourself: Would I treat a guest the way I treat money? Here are three ways we can show hospitality to guests - and money.

3 Steps to Personal Financial Success - Part III: Save Some Money

Obviously, you cannot be a financial success if you don't have any money or are not living the lifestyle that you envisioned. Question: Do you know what your net worth is? Many people don't and are afraid to even try to determine what it is. It may just be the one thing to get you taking action towards saving your money.
How Much to Save?

Love, Marriage and Money

The f-word. Finances. Combining love and money may be the biggest stumbling block on the path of true love, creating more rifts in relationships than in-laws, drug and alcohol addiction, or infidelity.
Financial power struggles challenge even the most solid partnership. Unfortunately, money too often equates to control in a relationship. The delicate balance of power between you is dependent on the successful combination of love and money.

How To Reduce Banking Fees

Nobody likes to pay banking fees, but if you aren't active in trying to reduce them, you are probably paying more in fees than you need to be. One of the most important actions to take in order to reduce the banking fees is to figure out exactly how you use your bank. Consider what your average balance will be and how low the balance may dip. Also consider the type of transactions you make and what types of services

Turning Your Trash Into Cash

Junk. We all have some of it lying around the house. Whether it's boxed items cluttering the attic or everyday items that just don't fit with the room's decorating theme anymore, many of us have more than we need. At some point it all gets to be too much and in a fit of energy we decide

How, you ask?
If you want to try your hand at snipping scissors for savings, first you need the coupons! The best source for coupons

"Will That Be Cash Or Credit?"

From Bangkok to Edmonton, credit card statements stuff mail and email boxes with payment deadlines. Every bill reminds the giver that gifts given freely do not come free. Giving and buying often exceed generosity and need as a brittle piece of plastic becomes an avaricious spoiler of hopes and dreams.
During this week, two families emailed me about credit card debt. One family lugs $12,000, and $50,000

Time Out

The Patriots earned their money when settling the Super Bowl challenge thanks to Adam Vinatieri's kick through the goal posts. Just before that kick, the Carolina Panthers called time-out to unnerve Vinatieri and Kinchen, the stand in center. On Thursday, January 29, 2004, Greenspan and company suggested they might kick up short-term interest rates. Hinting a time out for interest rates unnerved investors.

Getting Some Perspective On Your Avoidance Habits

It is quite natural for human beings to avoid discomfort. Our brains are wired that way. Without thinking about it, we'll rush in from the cold. Of course! Without really thinking about it, we'll steer clear of somebody we don't particularly like. Of course! Without thinking about it, we'll bypass the ________ section of the buffet table. Of course! It's the SPINACH section!

To Factor or Not to Factor?

The purchasing of accounts receivable (invoices) is generally known as factoring. Businesses can sell their invoices to companies known as factors. Although not all businesses are familiar with factoring, historians claim that factoring dates back to the ancient Roman civilization making it one of the world's oldest methods of finance.

Feespeak

Many banks have started charging customers a fee, some up to $5 if you use their human teller. Some banks will allow you a 1 time per month person to person contact. This was a simple business decision made on the part of management to encourage customers to utilize electronic banking services such as ATM's and banking by phone. This move prompted quite an annoyance to many bank customers. The national media

Bank Employee Incentives vs. Mr. Public Consumer

Banks rank their divisions, branches and employees as with every industry. Which branch is profiting. Which are losing? Which sell the most products/services? Which ones have the biggest increases/declines in each week, month, quarter, annually, etc. It's broken down by state, city, branch and even employee.

Data Mining

I just love the so called political correct terminology used today. How they decide it's really a political correct term is beyond me. Why don't they call it what it is; misleading terminology, whitewashing, sugar coating. Example: collaterial damage ie. innocent people fatally killed in the wake of combat.

We The People, Must Follow Through

After spending some time researching our 14 amendment and how it came to be I realize that in this, the 21st Century, we have the power, the means (the Internet, etc) to see that this never happens again.
So many of us, me included, just sat here in our cozy homes thinking all was well. We were wrong my reader and fellow Americans.
Democrat or Republican, far left or right is not the issue here. It's taking back our country and sovereignty. The 14th amendment took our sovereignty away from us as humans and made us chattel (property of this government).

Factoring. Cash Without Borrowing

How to Increase Cash Flow Without Borrowing
Cash flow is one of the main reasons businesses fail. At one time or another, every business, even successful ones, have experienced poor cash flow. Cash flow does not have to be a problem any more. Do not be fooled -- banks are not the only places you can get funding. Other solutions are available and you do not have to borrow.

Growing Faster Than Your Cash Flow? Let Factoring Fund Your Next Expansion!

When a business factors their invoices, they are allowing a third party to purchase their invoices at a discount price. This discount is considered the third party's fee.
If your business receives orders from customers on a regular basis, but has to wait 30, 60, or even 90 days for payment, you maybe experiencing a crunch in your cash flow. Factoring gives you the opportunity

9-11 And Your Checking Account

Imagine a catastrophic event triggering the government to change the rules covering your checking account. Actually, you don’t have to imagine it because it happened in New York on 9-11.
The ensuing halt to commerce in the immediate days after 9-11 (about four total) was enough of a catalyst for our otherwise sloth emulating elected Congressional representatives to pass an act that would ensure the transfer of checks between financial agencies would not again be disrupted by catastrophe, act of God, or dumb luck.

Opening a Bank Account Doesn't Have To Be Difficult

If you're a young person who has just begun to earn some money, it is very important that you know how to open a bank account. Once you do, you'll have taken the first step in a long-term process of financial independence and growth.
A bank account is not only essential to cultivating savings, it is also important for day-to-day financial activities. Before you decide what bank or financial institution with which to do business, however, do some research. Talk to your friends and family about where they do their banking. Ask them questions about the service their bank provides, and whether or not they are satisfied with it.

Wire Transfers: The Easiest Way To Send Money

In the past, if you wanted to send money electronically through a wire transfer you only had a few options available to you. You could go to your local bank to conduct the transfer, or you could use the services of a company such as Western Union. But nowadays more and more companies are set up to provide wire transfer services, especially online.

A Balancing Act: How To Properly Organize Your Checkbook

With all the things you have to remember to do on a regular basis, balancing your checkbook doesn't always receive priority. But if you plan ahead and schedule some time for this important task, you will reap the financial rewards.
Before you begin make sure you have the following items on hand: checkbook, ledger book, ATM and deposit receipts, calculator and a pencil. The next step is to check your items. First, separate your returned checks and ATM withdrawal slips into two distinct piles. Then place your returned checks in numerical order and compare them to your ledger book by writing an "X" in the ledger beside every figure that matches a cancelled check.

Make the Most of Your Money

I'm always amazed that so many people spend most of their life at work and totally neglect their personal affairs.
Many of the business people I work with want their professional lives to be in order, and admit that their personal affairs are in chaos.
They have no systems for handling this most important area. The household paperwork is disorganised...piled up in a corner of the house...somewhere. They have no idea where they spend their money and often have no plan for their financial future.

The Art of Writing a Check

Although it may seem very obvious, many people do not know how to write checks. With the birth of a generation that regularly uses ATM check cards, online bill payment systems, and credit cards more often than checks, check writing may risk extinction due to ignorance.
Luckily for you, this article will take you through the process of properly writing a check step-by-step - so that there may be hope for future generations of check writers.

The Future Of Banking - Bank Online

Chances are your bank is a virtual place. Since the invention of the Internet you can see your balances anywhere, at any time. Most banks think globally and have acted this way by creating secure portals to manage their account holder's information stored in their databases. This information stored usually shows account balances, previous transactions, current balances, interest paid and electronic scans of their checks. Anywhere you can get to a computer, your bank account is right in your hands,

Cash Flow, Profits And The Cash Conversion Cycle

Calculating cash flow is one of the most important tasks of the business owner. Revenue and expenses are rarely constant in a business and cash requirements need to be planned for shortfalls, seasonal factors or one time large payments. At the end of the day, a company that cannot pay its bills is bankrupt.
Unfortunately, while many business owners concentrate solely on their revenues and expenses to manage their cash flow, it's usually poor management of the cash conversion cycle

Haggling: Give Yourself A Raise

Haggling was a way of life for Mr. B. I knew Mr. B because his son was one of my friends. His
haggling greatly embarrassed my friend, but it didn't bother Mr. B. He was saving money.
Mr. B was a wonder. His distaste for paying retail was so ingrained he would bargain at the local

Top Tips to Get What You Pay For Online

It seems like only a few years ago, when shopping online was akin to the wild, wild West -- limited to use by those with true grit and an adventurous spirit. And, is it any wonder? The other day I sat in a meeting listening to a young man extol the virtues of owning real estate. Much of what he said was true. However two things made me sit up and take notice. I couldn't help but comment.

The Best Time To Starty Your Own Business

I started reading business opportunity magazines approximately 40 years ago. And for the last 40 years, the January issues have proclaimed:

The reasons supporting this bold blast have varied over these 40 years as you can well imagine. This year the reasons float around the fact we are fat, i.e., great economy, low unemployment and an income level allowing for disposable dollars.

You see, I'm a professional shaman who lives within driving distance of Manhattan. However, unlike other healers and the many others who personally went into 'ground zero' to offer their services, I didn't go. I knew that I was too sensitive to handle the initial massive trauma that must have been all around. I feared that the scar would stay with me for life.
